I drove 300 miles from Nevada to Los Angeles for a consultation for back pain with Dr. Gantwerker. He had operated successfully on my brother's spine and, since I was not confident with my Doctor at the time, I was looking for a second opinion. Good decision! Dr. Gantwerker provided a thorough diagnosis and gave generous time to discuss options. Bonus: I encountered the Doc with the best bedside manner I've encountered in my 80+ years. I am looking forward to the operation. Stay tuned.

I would love to have my surgery done by Dr. Gantwerker. He is a brilliant genius. Unfortunately, I can’t, since I will be on Medicare when I am ready for my surgery. He doesn’t accept Medicare and it breaks my heart that I can’t have him as my surgeon now.

Dr Gantwerker is professional, a brilliant diagnostician and very personable.He has been the ONLY physician to diagnose, understand and treat pain I've had for 24 years.
I have been to numerous neurologists, neurosurgeons, orthopedic practices and neuropsychologists with absolutely no advice or assistance in treating my case. He is kind, patient, brilliant and will answer any questions you have in terms you will understand.
I cannot recommend any other doctor with his experience and great knowledge. Highly recommend him!

Dr Gantwerker is fantastic and his office staff, Annick and Helene, are absolute gems. So far each step has been quick, clear, easy and helpful. Annick and Helene are personable, friendly, fun and with wonderful humor!!
Dr G is very kind and very thorough. Prior to him, no other MD had done a thorough and comprehensive physical exam of me - which seemed odd. Dr G did. And he showed me my MRI and explained it in detail. I have been very scared about what's happening with me, and after meeting him, my fear is actually gone (may it stay gone) and I feel taken care of.
Don't hesitate to see Dr Gantwerker, he's excellent.

He's a great doctor who spends as much time as you would need to discuss your issues. He's caring, intelligent and makes you feel like you're in good hands. His front office is equally as good (Annick) as they are friendly and caring, too.
